Suva Municipal Market

This is the beating heart of Suva and a great place to spend an hour or so poking around with a camera. The boys with barrows own the lanes and they aren’t afraid to mow down a few tourists to deliver their cassava on time.

Besides the recognisable tomatoes, cabbages and chillies, look out for bitter gourds, rourou (boiled dalo leaves in lolo), kava, jackfruit, dalo.

Kila Eco Adventure Park

KEAP is a wild and fun park and a major tourist attraction in Fiji. With the longest zipline and the only giant swing in Fiji, KEAP provides a unique experience and fantastic fun for all ages.

There are more than 28 amazing activities including a commando course, high and low rope courses, and the leap of faith. Sprawling over more than 170 hectares of greenery, KEAP also has an organic farm.

Parliament of Fiji

Designed in the post-1987 atmosphere and opened in June 1992, the parliament complex must be one of the world’s most striking political hubs.

The aim of maintaining indigenous Fijian values is apparent through the open-air corridors, traditional arts and structures, and masi cloths.

Suva City of Surprises Tour

A fully guided sightseeing tour of Fiji’s capital city – the centre of commerce and the seat of government. You will have the opportunity to go to the Fiji Museum, Pure Fiji factory, and experience Suva’s bustling Municipal market.

This guided tour will take you to see the President’s Residence and nearby Albert Park (where Kingsford Smith landed his small aircraft on his epic flight from the USA to Australia in 1928) as well as Thurston botanical gardens.
