Project Manager

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to priortise, plan and execute projects in Fiji, Samoa and Tonga. The Project Manager will come from a building background with experience managing large scale projects, ensuring that repairs and maintenance for all Reddy Group properties are managed closely.

This is a full time role, based in our Reddy Group offices either in Lautoka or Nadi. This position will suit someone who is happy to get involved wherever needed. You’ll have 3 direct reports and manage relationships within our New Zealand and Fiji offices.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Take full responsibility of major projects, including oversight of budgets, liaising with key stakeholders, and managing key risks.
• Create and execute project work plans and revise to meet changing requirements as needed.
• Identify required resources and assign individual responsibilities across projects.
• Manage project issues and risks, mitigate where possible and escalate when appropriate.
• Liaise with key stakeholders on each project to ensure buy in and smooth completion.
• Set KPI’s and undertake periodic performance reviews of internal project teams.
• Identify learning and development opportunities which facilitate personal and professional growth.

Required Skills/Attributes:

• Qualified builder, with hands-on technical building expertise
• Strong project and process management skills
• An ability to resolve issues without compromising project objectives
• Able to apply an analytical, pragmatic and creative approach to problem solving
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• More than 10 years’ experience as a Project Manager, overseeing both construction and non-construction projects
• Proven track record of delivering projects on time and with in budget
